About

Dr. Melanie Brennan grew up in Connecticut and received her MS in Animal Science from the University of Connecticut in 2002. She went on to graduate with her DVM from Tufts Veterinary School in Massachusetts in 2006. After spending 16 years in general practice at local small animal hospitals, she joined the team at CDVRH in 2022 and has immensely enjoyed providing emergency care to pets in need. She is honored to be able to help pets and their owners through some of their most difficult days (and nights). Dr. Brennan especially enjoys surgery.

Outside the hospital, Dr. Brennan enjoys spending time with her wife, two teenage daughters, and school-aged son. She also enjoys yoga, travel, and all things chihuahua.
